Losing his wife to cancer, Joe LoGuirato poured his emotions into making sculptures and paintings—a tribute to Stella LoGuirato. His art depicts his memories of the quiet and happy moments he spent with his wife. In an interview with the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, Joe said, “I want people who see the exhibition to come away with an awareness of the struggles and the courage of cancer patients. And I want them to remember to live each day fully because you don’t know how much you have.”
