Health-related consequences are an important concern in the area of sexual
abuse. In part two of the Childhood Sexual Abuse Video Series, Elsabeth Jensen, RN PhD, explores possible health consequences with which abuse survivors must sometimes contend. She has worked in the field of mental health for over 30 years, including in mental health hospitals and a private practice. She is a past president of the Registered Nurses of Ontario Association and is currently a professor at York University. Her specialty is in treating survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
