The Voices in my Head
Eleanor Longden was a typical college student until she began hearing voices. Over time, the voices became more negative—to the point that she had to be hospitalized and was placed on a cocktail of medications. Subsequently, she was lost in a system not designed to provide the help and support she needed. In this TED Talk, she discusses how she was able to recover by listening to the voices in her head. Her moving story of success provides hope for those diagnosed with schizophrenia.
