Climate Change and Mental Health

Britt Wray is a Canadian author, broadcaster, and researcher who investigates the connection between climate change and its effects on mental health. In her Ted Talk “How Climate Change Affects Your Mental Health”, Wray reflects on how the current climate crisis is deeply affecting young people’s mental wellbeing: from the decisions they make every day to personal life choices such as having kids. She stimulates one’s thinking by asking questions such as what is currently happening worldwide and what we owe to one another. Finally, she highlights the importance of treating the psychological impact of climate change as a keystone in the construction of solutions to this current crisis.
