This VICE documentary on the Aokigahara Forest, otherwise known as the Japanese “suicide forest,” follows Azusa Hayano, a geologist, who studies the plantation at the base of Mount Fuji. In the video, we watch Hayano walk through the forest and explain the history of this suicide site.
