AJ Addae, a student at Northeastern University, created a poem in response to a statement sent out by the university. This statement was concerning the racial issues being brought up since the George Floyd incident. The poem was created by redacting statements from the universities statement and merging together what was left into a cohesive poem about racism. Addae states that the universities statement was weak, and provided no support for the black community. The statement only suggested that America could do better. However, this is not enough.
