Women’s March

Women’s March

WOMEN’S MARCH: December 6th is the International Day of Remembrance and action on Violence against women in response to the Ecole Polytechnique Massacre. While reflecting on gender-based violence in society can be overwhelming, today’s picture provides a message of encouragement.

The image below is from a Women’s march in 2018 in Chicago. It serves as a reminder that women are not isolated in their struggles and that there are communities that continue to rally for women’s rights. Although the news we are exposed to can be discouraging at times, it’s also important to remember that activism has and will continue to bring about the change we need to see as a society.
