Save Myself

Ed Sheeran released “Save Myself” on his third studio album, “÷” in 2017. This song portrays an emotional sentiment of how individuals may feel burnt out or fatigued with a sense of nothing left to offer or give to what they love and feel passionate about in their life. Sometimes individuals at this point will turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms which is something that can be an easy fix. Sheeran recognizes how individuals may seek for these easy fixes within his song but emphasises that working on yourself and seeking the correct help and aid would benefit one greatly. If you give all your energy away, what do you have for yourself?

“So before I save someone else, I’ve got to save myself,”
