In an attempt to shed the stigma of mental illness and inform an uninformed public, an exhibition in China showcased artwork by individuals struggling with psychological disorders. Artist Yishu, diagnosed with schizophrenia, lives in an institution and spends her time painting. She depicts memories of her childhood before she was struck by this condition.
