Inside The Mental Wellness Loft

Inspired by long wait lists and inaccessible psychotherapy costs, Toronto comedian Shelley Marshall opened a free mental wellness centre in her home. Shelley herself has struggled with mental health and suicide and found the existing care options to be inadequate and inflexible. What first started as a space for friends, quickly became a community space that explores creative avenues for mental wellness. Check out the video:
