We all feel overwhelmed occasionally. While there are many meditation and breathing exercises out there, choosing one that is right you can also feel overwhelming. Box breathing is a simple relaxation technique that involved imagining breathing around a box and is intended to help one “reset” their breath. In a video created by Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, a visual of how this technique works is provided. In times of intense mental strain, box breathing can be a fast and simple way to calm yourself down.
