Empty

Empty” is an award winning short film about a woman, Kiera, living with an eating disorder and her battle with the hypercritical voices in her head. The powerful film reveals the emotional strain of having an eating disorder and how the media can place impossible pressures on individuals already suffering from a negative self-image. “Empty” also underscores the importance of seeking professional help; with the aid of her therapist, Kiera is able to find the strength to confront her demons, and hopefully begin her process of recovery.
