Most us have heard the horrifying statistics surrounding domestic violence, but we rarely get to glimpse the personal stories of victims. The students of Fordham University aimed to give viewers just that opportunity. The short film “Mine” was directed by Shannon Morrall’s Crew at Fordham University in 2014 for the Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival. Through the use of a poetic script and creative videography, the students set out to convey the emotions felt by women who experience domestic violence.
