One Year is a collaborative installation by mothers who lost children due to violence. It was created by MamaCITA artists Janice Hayes-Cha, Brenda Howell, Julie Mann, Karen Hunter McLaughlin and Kimberly Mehler, in collaboration with Philadelphia-based violence prevention organization, Mothers in Charge.
