“I Wanna Get Better”, performed by The Bleachers, is a song about singer Jack Antonoff’s personal experiences with grief, depression, and renewal. Through lyrics like, “I didn’t know I was broken ‘til I wanted to change / I wanna get better,” Antonoff tells his real-life story about dealing with his sister’s and cousin’s deaths, and the tragedy of 9/11.
