“Heavy” by Linkin Park featuring Kiiara was released in early 2017. After the suicide of the lead singer in July of this year, one can only speculate on the various mental health issues surrounding Chester Bennington. “Heavy” refers to the stressful effect of Chester’s inability to let go of the many thoughts that burdened him. As the song states, “If I just let go, I’d be free.” This song acts as a reminder of the importance of learning how to cope with the many thoughts that pass through our minds.
