“Anti-D” by The Wombats is a song about the struggles of lead singer Matthew Murphy the weeks after he stopped taking anti-depressants. Murphy suffered from anxiety and depression since he was a teenager and was prescribed anti-depressants to manage his illness. However, after a while, the side effects of the medication were too overwhelming and he decided to stop taking them.
