Filmmaker Don Hertzfeldt’s short film Everything will be OK captures the experiences of Bill as he starts to experience a mental breakdown. Despite small comedic interspersions, this film captures how quickly ordinary experiences and events can lead someone into a spiraling case of depression and mental illness. Despite the severity of his problems, which range from anxiety to full-blown psychosis, Bill retains his resilience and manages to recuperate.
